Welded I-beams are custom-made for the box column frame system and are formed by connecting the top and bottom flanges to the web with full penetration welds. The wall is provided with several rows of transverse stiffeners, which allows flexible optimization of the cross-sectional dimensions, beam length and stiffener spacing, ensuring precise coupling with box columns and achieving an optimal stress-strain state in the column-beam interface nodes.
High-strength steel grade Q355B is used, with the option of replacing it with high-ductility grades such as Q420B to adapt to the challenging conditions of cold climates, coastal zones and other environments. Automated submerged arc welding, shielded gas welding and other technologies are used. Welded seams undergo 100% non-destructive testing using ultrasonic and magnetic particle flaw detection, which, in combination with an anti-corrosion coating with a service life of more than 15 years, ensures the safety and durability of the structure.
